Office Hours

A generic box was created with an augmented shape placed within it. These shapes respond to the given volume of a professor’s office and the space actually inhabited by that professor. This hybrid space was then placed in the non-place of an open atrium, where meetings and office hours could be held as a part of a new.

The orange extension cord carries power from professor Hubeli’s existing office down, through the atrium, into his new office, where it illuminates a light bulb indicating when his office is “open”.
