Everything Under the Sun

Designed in collaboration with Lead Designer, Jonathan Stitelman, Bemberg Architecture acted as architect of record on this excited new sculpture at 3302 Delmar Blvd.

St. Louis doesn’t follow a single compass line. Its streets shift and pivot, responding to the curve of the Mississippi River. That subtle east–west drift mirrors the arc the sun traces overhead each day.

Everything Under the Sun creates a place to notice that alignment. Part sculpture, part observatory, it frames the movement of light against the fabric of the city. Step inside. Find your bearings. Let the sun reveal how the city reorients itself hour by hour.

Twice each year, the relationship becomes exact. At sunset on April 18 and August 24, sunlight threads through the narrow openings between the sculpture’s tines. The same phenomenon occurs at sunrise on February 16 and October 25.

Visit in different seasons. Bring someone with you. Stand together and watch as light, time, and city converge in a shared moment.
