Be Well Cafe & Market

Transforming a historic storefront into a community cafe and grocery, this project addresses a vast food desert in North St. Louis. The design utilizes a clever circulation strategy, placing the kitchen at the rear and converting an old gangway into a scenic passage. This allows guests to bypass the interior to reach a protected outdoor courtyard, while the front remains an open, friendly environment for healthy retail.
